Dr. Emory is a physician with general medical experience who later became a board certified psychiatrist. He graduated from Washington and Lee University and obtained an MD degree from the University of Virginia. Following internship at Vanderbilt University, he served as a general medical officer/flight surgeon in the U.S. Navy and then had a psychiatric residency and child fellowship at UCLA. He has nearly three decades of experience in EEG/QEEG research. His medication correlation database has been validated by researchers in diverse academic medical centers and has also been used at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center to improve the treatment of military personnel.
Dr. Emory is currently working in private practice and is a co-founder and investigator for EM-NPI.
Carlton Cadwell, D.D.S. graduated from the University of Oregon with a B.A. degree and attended the University of Washington where he received his D.D.S degree. He practiced dentistry for 10 years. He and his bother John Cadwell, M.D., BSEE, started Cadwell Laboratories in 1979 where he continues to serve as president. Cadwell Laboratories is a leading manufacturer of neurodiagnostic medical equipment and associated supplies which is marketed worldwide.
Dr. Cadwell has other business interests including 2 health clubs, a physical therapy practice and an exercise equipment manufacturing company. He has served on a church board, bank board, lectures on business success, lead a business development group, serves on the board of a medical isotope company and serves as a business mentor. His outside interest includes flying, racquetball, snow skiing and water skiing. He is an avid reader, especially of business and personal development books. His passion is to make a difference in other peoples’ lives through health.
Currently Mark L. Shatsky, DO is serving as Medical Director at Providence Medical Group and Advisory Chief Medical Informatics Officer (CMIO) for Boulder Care. Six+ years of experience as the CMIO for the Providence Epic Connect program, the largest Connect program in the country. During Dr. Shatsky’s time in IT leadership he also served as the system population health, and government programs liaison (Meaningful Use) as well as Medical Director for the ICD 10 transition. Dr. Shatsky is a board certified family physician with fellowship training in residency education, primary care research and development. Additionally, Dr. Shatsky is board eligible for Clinical Informatics. Dr. Shatsky is passionate about helping organizations successfully implement and optimize their current EHR as well as working with providers to help improve efficiency, work/life balance, and job satisfaction. Dr. Shatsky has been fortunate to have had diverse experiences in many different healthcare cultures and enjoy being a change agent.
