First-generation college graduate Penny Nyokabi selected as scholarship recipient in celebration of UNL’s 25th anniversary.

ATLANTA – May 21, 2025 – Emory University’s Goizueta Business School has awarded a full-tuition scholarship to its prestigious Evening MBA program to Penny Nyokabi, a standout alumna of Usher’s New Look (UNL). The scholarship celebrates the 25th anniversary of UNL and nearly 15 years of collaboration between Emory and UNL to transform lives through education, leadership, and opportunity.

The Usher’s New Look MBA Scholarship at Goizueta is awarded to a graduate of UNL’s Moguls in Training (MIT) program, a flagship college and career readiness initiative that provides mentorship, life skills, and leadership development to students navigating higher education. Nyokabi will begin the MBA program in Fall 2025.

“Education has always been at the core of Usher’s New Look,” shares Grammy Award-winning artist and UNL founder Usher Raymond IV. “This scholarship represents the next chapter in helping our students not only dream big but lead big. I’m proud to see our longtime partnership with Goizueta evolve into a transformational opportunity.”

Nyokabi, a first-generation college graduate who has worked in the tax field for PwC, The Home Depot, AT&T and currently QGEnda, holds both a BA in Business Administration and a Master of Taxation from Georgia State University. She now seeks to broaden her business acumen in areas such as global markets, strategy, and operations.

“Penny embodies the mission of Usher’s New Look—to help young people find their spark and create generational impact,” shares Cammie Rice, Chair of the Board for Usher’s New Look. “This scholarship is more than a gift; it’s a celebration of what’s possible when we invest in potential. We are incredibly proud of Penny and grateful to Goizueta Business School for believing in her journey.”

Goizueta’s Evening MBA program is consistently ranked among the best in the nation, known for its rigorous academics, industry connections, and emphasis on practical, real-world learning for working professionals.

“Our program is designed for driven professionals ready to take the next step in their leadership journey,” shares Jaclyn Conner, Associate Dean of Goizueta’s Evening and Executive MBA programs. “Penny’s passion for growth and her deep connection to the values of both UNL and Goizueta make her the perfect choice for this award. We are honored to welcome her into the Goizueta community.”

The MIT program spans the college years and equips students to thrive in school, career, and life. Participants engage in monthly sessions led by UNL alumni and industry leaders, exploring topics from financial literacy to graduate school prep. Graduates earn a Global Leadership Certificate validated by Emory University, with curriculum developed by Goizueta faculty.

Reflecting on the impact of UNL and the Moguls in Training program, Nyokabi shares “As a first-generation college student, the organization’s guidance and resources were instrumental in my success, offering scholarships and mentorship that allowed me to navigate higher education with confidence. More than just financial assistance, UNL fostered an environment where my academic, business, and social skills could develop and thrive.”

When asked about the impact of the scholarship, Nyokabi adds “This opportunity will be a crucial step in bridging the gap between technical expertise and strategic decision-making. I’m eager to apply what I learn to drive meaningful impact in my career and beyond.”

ATLANTA, GA (April 17, 2025) – Emory University’s Goizueta Business School announced today a $5 million gift from esteemed alumnus Billy Harbert 09MBA, a visionary leader in the construction and real estate industries. This transformational investment will establish the BL Harbert Real Estate Center, marking a new era of excellence in real estate education, thought leadership, and practice at Goizueta.

The new center will capitalize on Atlanta’s thriving real estate market, which is rapidly expanding with commercial and residential developments. With 75% of Fortune 1000 companies holding offices in the city, Atlanta is also home to 16 Fortune 500 company headquarters. The world-class real estate program will not only shape the future of the industry but also fuel innovation and economic development across Atlanta and the entire region.

Billy Harbert 09MBA

“We are deeply thankful to Billy Harbert for his extraordinary generosity. This gift represents a significant milestone for Goizueta and the entire Emory community,” shared Gareth James, John H. Harland Dean for Goizueta. “The BL Harbert Real Estate Center will enhance our ability to educate the next generation of real estate leaders, create a robust talent pipeline for leading firms, and strengthen our connection to the industry. It is a testament to the strength and influence of our alumni network.”

Building on nearly 20 years of real estate courses and initiatives, the new center will accelerate Goizueta’s momentum in this critical sector. Last year, a group of two dozen alumni, led by Randy Evans, established a transformative $3 million endowment to fuel additional leadership of the program. A national search is now underway for a Distinguished Industry Professor to guide the Real Estate program into its next era. Additionally, the school’s annual real estate conference—launched in 2022 by alumni including John Schellhase 23EvMBA, Russell Hardin 21MBA, Bernard Clevens 22MBA, and John Hillman 21MBA—has quickly gained recognition as one of the Southeast’s premier industry gatherings, attracting top professionals and decision-makers.

“The energy and excitement surrounding real estate at Emory and Goizueta Business School are unmistakable,” says Robert C. Goddard III, chair of the Emory Board of Trustees. “With Goizueta’s expanding real estate program, the school is poised to become a premier hub for real estate education and thought leadership. Given Atlanta’s position as a thriving commercial and investment center—serving as the economic engine of the Southeast—our students and faculty have unparalleled access to a dynamic market, influential industry leaders, and a wealth of opportunities. We are building something truly extraordinary.”

Through the BL Harbert Real Estate Center, Goizueta is developing a hands-on curriculum that equips students to excel as real estate entrepreneurs and practitioners. The center, supported by three key pillars—research, community engagement, and curriculum—will advance innovations in the field by increasing Goizueta’s influence as a hub for engagement, collaboration, and entrepreneurship.

Learn more about the BL Harbert Real Estate Center.

Students have access to hands-on learning both in and outside the classroom that strengthens their skill sets and resumes. Through the Real Estate Private Equity Fund, students will manage real-world investments by identifying undervalued REITs or those with consistent returns, and by researching real estate fixed income instruments that present strong investment opportunities. Goizueta will continue to offer its Real Estate career trek to New York, providing students a unique opportunity to meet with top firms, explore career paths, and strengthen professional networks nationwide. Moreover, the center will facilitate internships, case competitions, conferences, and real-world projects with industry partners.

“Industry innovation will not happen in a vacuum; it will be driven by research and a curriculum that brings real world problems and cutting-edge research to the classroom,” shared Sergio Gárate, director of the Goizueta Real Estate Program. “This generous investment by Billy Harbert will significantly enhance our students’ educational experience. By expanding professional networking, conference participation, and real estate competitions, we will better prepare our students for successful careers in real estate.”

Billy Harbert, chairman and CEO of BL Harbert International, has long been recognized for his innovation and leadership in construction and real estate. He has overseen numerous high-profile projects across the world that have left a lasting impact on the industry.

“I am proud to support the launch of the new center and hope to continue to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of real estate education and practice,” shared Harbert. “I look forward to seeing how Goizueta will inspire and prepare the next generation of industry leaders.”

Students in Goizueta’s Master of Finance program taking steps to career success through preparation for the CFA Program.

Atlanta, GA, February 19, 2025 — Emory University has become the latest university to be welcomed into the CFA Institute University Affiliation Program. Goizueta Business School’s Master of Finance program has been acknowledged as incorporating at least 70 percent of the CFA Program curriculum and placing emphasis on the CFA Institute Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct. The CFA program positions students well to obtain the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) certification, which has become the most respected and recognized investment credential worldwide.

Entry into the CFA Institute University Affiliation Program signals to potential students, employers, and the marketplace that Emory University’s curriculum is closely tied to professional practice and is well-suited to preparing students to sit for the CFA Program examinations. Through participation in this program, Emory University is eligible to receive a limited number of CFA Program Student Scholarships each year.

Emory University’s Goizueta Business School offers a 10-month, STEM-designated Master of Finance program designed for versatile thinkers aiming for careers in sales and trading, investment management, FinTech, and investment banking. Developed by finance industry professionals, the program provides a rigorous curriculum that combines theoretical foundations with practical applications, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of financial markets, investment strategies, and risk management.

“It is exciting to be approved as a CFA-affiliate program. We share high standards of academic excellence, ethical integrity, and a desire to advance the finance industry,” shared Kirsten Travers-UyHam, associate professor in the practice of finance. “As a committed member of the Emory Goizueta finance faculty and the CFA Society, I recognized an immediate opportunity to collaborate, bringing advantages to both students and the industry.”

“Being a CFA-affiliate program will enhance our already strong partnership with the CFA Atlanta chapter. Together, we host networking events, connect students to exciting industry programs, and work on community service projects for the CFA foundation. At our upcoming jointly-hosted event, students will speed-network with CFA charter holders at leading firms such as Invesco, JP Morgan, BlackRock, Goldman Sachs, and the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta.”

Students gain hands-on experience through a unique analyst immersion, spending time “on the job” in the Finance Lab to build market knowledge and insights. The program emphasizes data-driven financial analysis techniques, applying cutting-edge data and analytical tools to identify solutions to complex business problems. Graduates are well-prepared for leadership roles in the dynamic global financial landscape.

ATLANTA, GA December 12, 2024 – Emory University is proud to announce the launch of the Techstars Emory Founder Catalyst Program, a collaboration between The Hatchery, Emory Center for Innovation, Goizueta Business School’s Roberto C. Goizueta Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation, and Techstars, the world’s most active pre-seed investor. This proven pre-accelerator program is designed to empower early-stage entrepreneurs with world-class startup education, mentorship, and opportunities to scale their ventures.

Applications are now open through January 17 for the inaugural cohort of 20 ventures, launching early 2025. The program will culminate in a pitch competition in April, where participating teams will showcase their innovative ideas to investors, mentors, and the entrepreneurial community. Participation is open to all members of the Emory community, including students, faculty, staff, and alumni. Teams need at least one Emory-affiliated member actively involved with the startup and must commit to weekly in-person sessions. Participation in the Founder Catalyst program is free of charge for all founders, and there is no requirement to share equity in the startups or accept onerous investment terms to participate.

“Partnering with Techstars, an internationally renowned accelerator, allows us to extend the impact of entrepreneurship across Emory and beyond,” said Ben Garrett, Director of The Hatchery, Emory Center for Innovation. “The Techstars Emory Founder Catalyst program builds on our commitment to equipping the next generation of founders with the tools, mentorship, and confidence they need to bring their innovative ideas to life, no matter the industry or focus.”

The Roberto C. Goizueta Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation has long been at the forefront of entrepreneurship education at Emory. The Techstars Emory Founder Catalyst program will replace its existing Startup Launch Accelerator in 2025, reflecting a strategic evolution in Emory’s entrepreneurship offerings.

“This collaboration with Techstars represents a significant step forward for Emory’s entrepreneurial ecosystem,” said Brian Cayce, Managing Director of The Roberto C. Goizueta Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation. “By connecting our community with Techstars’ global expertise, we’re positioning Emory founders for exceptional success on both local and national stages.”

Emory will again turn to Christy Brown as the Lead Facilitator, an experienced entrepreneur and instructor who has guided startups through early growth stages. Brown emphasized the program’s hands-on approach, stating, “Entrepreneurship is all about action. Through this program, founders will not only learn from the best but also actively build and test their ventures, developing the resilience and creativity they’ll need for long-term success.”

Under the leadership of Wilbur Lam, Vice Provost for Entrepreneurship at Emory, the university has focused on enhancing resources and connections for innovators across disciplines. “Emory’s partnership with Techstars exemplifies the collaborative spirit that drives our entrepreneurial vision,” said Lam. “We are deeply committed to creating opportunities that empower our students, faculty, staff and alumni to turn their ideas into impactful ventures.”

Techstars brings unparalleled expertise to this collaboration. As the world’s leading pre-seed investor, Techstars has helped launch and scale thousands of successful startups worldwide. Katie Smith, Head of Startup Community at Techstars, shared her excitement: “We’re thrilled to bring Techstars’ proven pre-accelerator model to Emory University. This partnership represents a unique opportunity to combine Emory’s incredible talent with Techstars’ resources and global network, creating a launchpad for tomorrow’s leading innovators.”

Atlanta, GA, December 4, 2024 21st Century Leaders (21CL), a non-profit and Georgia’s premier youth leadership development program, and Emory University’s Goizueta Business School have leveraged their nearly 20-year partnership to present an opportunity for high school students to earn a Leadership Certificate from the business school through a capstone project focused on social enterprise and entrepreneurship. This is the only program through which high school students can obtain this certificate.

Through 21st Century Leaders’ proprietary online learning platform, Leadership Connect, students engage with gamified lessons that they complete at their own pace, earning points and unlocking rewards as they develop their leadership skills in an online community and “level up their leadership.” Leadership Connect’s four levels of content, comprising over 170 lessons, focus on foundational leadership competencies; social-emotional learning and diversity, equity and inclusion; life skills including financial literacy and civic engagement; and the capstone of social enterprise and entrepreneurship. Over the past decade, 21CL has been developing Leadership Connect’s content, with the culminating level of curriculum, Level 4: Social Enterprise and Entrepreneurship Capstone, recently launched in fall 2024 in collaboration with Goizueta.

“At Goizueta, we believe in the power of leadership and innovation to drive positive change. We’re thrilled to extend this experience to high school students through our partnership with 21st Century Leaders,” shares Gareth James, John H. Harland Dean of Goizueta Business School. “This Leadership Certificate focuses on topics such as entrepreneurship and social responsibility, offering young leaders a unique opportunity to develop skills early on that are essential for thriving in the world today. We are excited to see the impact these students will make as they apply what they’ve learned in their communities and beyond.”

In its inaugural year, Level 4: Social Enterprise and Entrepreneurship Capstone is time-bound and project-based; students complete lessons and submit assignments between monthly meetings with a cohort of peers and Leadership Connect coaches, all of whom are current MBA candidates or graduates of Goizueta. Collaborating with Goizueta faculty and students, 21CL built out this customized social enterprise curriculum through interactive, gamified content and videos recorded by Goizueta professors and MBA graduates/candidates tailored to high school students.

Between now and April 2025, these 21st Century Leaders’ high school students will work with their assigned MBA volunteer coach to develop a social enterprise and business pitch together, which will be presented at the end of the school year. The experience will end with an exciting pitch day in person at Goizueta Business School on April 19, 2025. Those that complete Level 4 also receive a Leadership Certificate that is jointly presented by 21st Century Leaders and Goizueta, an exclusive credential for high school students to have as they pursue post-secondary education and career pathways.

“This is an extremely exciting time not just for 21st Century Leaders as an organization, but also for our students who are receiving an experience and education in entrepreneurship and leadership from an international-ranked MBA program – as high school students!” says Kate Hewitt, Executive Director of 21st Century Leaders. “Our partnership with Goizueta Business School has unlocked potential and opened doors for thousands of students over the last two decades, but this certificate and curriculum has the power to take students to a whole new level of opportunity, success, and careers.”

This year’s cohort includes 28 students from across Georgia – including Berrien, Emanuel, Jefferson, and Harris Counties – and 14 coaches representing Goizueta.

ATLANTA, GA, December 2, 2024: Emory Executive Education announces the launch of its seven-month Advanced Management Program in Healthcare. The program is designed to equip senior executives with leadership and strategic thinking skills along with the ability to embrace innovation and adaptation of the latest technologies shaping the future of healthcare. This program combines a cutting-edge curriculum with the latest insights from industry experts. The healthcare landscape is being transformed by the evolution of technology, changes in healthcare policies, shifting expectations of both healthcare workers and patients, and ongoing research that informs new practices. This online and in-person program, led by the Emory faculty, will provide participants with a diverse skill set for strategic leadership and operational efficiency while evaluating and implementing organizational changes to leverage new technologies and innovative healthcare solutions. Participants will interact with faculty and guest speakers during live online sessions, engage in a capstone project, and network with like-minded peers from a diversity of healthcare fields during a five-day in-person module. Upon successful completion of the program, participants will receive a verified certificate of completion and a digital badge from Emory Executive Education.

“The Advanced Management Program in Healthcare will equip you with the business and leadership skills that are needed to succeed in today’s exciting and ever-changing healthcare environment,” says program faculty Marilyn Margolis, former chief executive officer at Emory Johns Creek Hospital.

This program is ideal for experienced professionals and leaders across healthcare and allied sectors, including nonclinical C-suite executives and senior and functional leaders in healthcare systems and related healthcare fields. The program is designed to add value even for those with advanced degrees, like an MBA or MPH, by focusing on the unique challenges of healthcare leadership today.

“The Advanced Management Program in Healthcare equips participants with the strategic thinking, leadership acumen, and management and operational expertise required to navigate the future of the rapidly evolving healthcare landscape,” says Mike Malefakis, President of University Partnerships at Emeritus. “Our collaboration with Emory Executive Education underscores our unwavering commitment to helping clinical and nonclinical leaders successfully navigate the dynamic healthcare industry.”

ATLANTA (Sept 5, 2024) — The successful Start:ME Accelerator at Emory University’s Goizueta Business School is expanding to Northwest Atlanta.

Since 2013, Start:ME has provided training, tools and connections to 445 business owners in Clarkston, East Lake, and Atlanta’s Southside. Of those companies, 83 percent are led by people of color and 74 percent are led by women. Start:ME alumni employ more than 800 people with annual revenues of $24 million, and its seed investment pool has provided 149 ventures with almost $420,000 in start-up capital.

Building on that success, Start:ME Northwest Atlanta is recruiting entrepreneurs and mentors to a vibrant part of Atlanta with tremendous opportunity for economic growth and wealth creation. Partnerships with the Grove Park Foundation, Truist Foundation and volunteer mentors make possible the free 14-week Start:ME program beginning January 2025.

“The partnership between the Grove Park Foundation and Start:ME is exactly what we’ve envisioned to support small business owners in our community,” said Grove Park Foundation Executive Director Gavin McGuire. “This collaboration aligns perfectly with our mission to provide economic opportunities for families and children to break the cycle of intergenerational poverty. Together, we are creating conditions for people to thrive.”

From mom-and-pop shops to in-home ventures, microbusinesses (which have less than 9 employees) are individually quite small but collectively create a big impact. According to The Association for Enterprise Opportunity (AEO), microbusinesses account for 92 percent of all US businesses and create 43.6 million jobs.

For entrepreneur Sioux Greaux of Sole Renew, participating in Start:ME proved immensely beneficial as it provided essential tools and knowledge. “From honing business planning skills to mastering pitching and storytelling, developing financial plans, and navigating legal matters, each session contributed significantly to my entrepreneurial journey. The program also offered invaluable networking opportunities and practical experiences. Start:ME empowered me to build a stronger foundation to navigate the challenges of entrepreneurship with greater confidence and strategic steps.”

For Goizueta Business School, the program is another example of its commitment to building principled and impactful leaders and entrepreneurs.

“Start:ME Northwest Atlanta is more than just a program expansion; it’s a testament to our dedication to uplifting both business and society,” said Gareth James, John H. Harland Dean of Goizueta Business School. “Start:ME enables micro-entrepreneurs to generate income, create jobs, and become community role models—catalyzing growth and prosperity in the neighborhoods they serve.”

Start:ME is delivered by Goizueta’s Business & Society Institute, and many alumni and business leaders provide volunteer mentorship for Start:ME entrepreneurs. They are paired based on skill sets, experience and compatibility.

“The relationship between mentors and entrepreneurs is key and often extends beyond the 14-week program,” said Start:ME Director Erin Igleheart. “We want entrepreneurs to have a solid, supportive, constructive network of mentors and peer entrepreneurs to draw upon as they continue to operate their business.”

The Truist Foundation, through a $1 million multi-year grant issued in 2023, is supporting Start:ME’s current community footprint and its expansion to Northwest Atlanta. The foundation was Start:ME’s inaugural external seed funder, then under the SunTrust Foundation umbrella, issuing the first grant to the program’s Clarkston efforts in 2013.

“We are proud to partner with Goizueta Business School and support such a transformational program in the Atlanta community,” says Lynette Bell, president of Truist Foundation. “Truist Foundation believes all people and communities should have an equal opportunity to thrive. By strengthening the small business ecosystem in underserved neighborhoods, we can begin to level the playing field and ignite generational wealth for years to come.”

Start:ME also partners with community lead nonprofit organizations East Lake Foundation, Focused Community Strategies (FCS), Friends of Refugees, and Purpose Built Schools Atlanta. Start:ME is made possible by the gracious support of Bank of America, Emory University’s Goizueta Business School, Regions Foundation, Target Corporation, and Truist Foundation.

Start:ME is currently seeking volunteer mentors passionate about sharing their business skills and supporting the small business community. Interested applicants can learn more and apply now at www.startmeatl.org/mentor.

For entrepreneurs interested in participating in any of the four Start:ME community programs, applications are open at www.startmeatl.org/apply from September 5th to October 5th.

To learn more about the program and how you can get involved, visit www.startmeatl.org/.

Startups Seeking Funding between $500,000 and $5M Should Apply by September 27.

Emory University’s Goizueta Business School will host the 18th semi-annual RAISE (Retention and Advanced Investment for the Southeast at Emory) Forum on Friday, November 15. This invitation-only event connects startups and top-tier investors from across the Southeast to foster collaboration within the region’s entrepreneurial ecosystem and ensures the best startups can stay local.

The Forum is now accepting applications from post-revenue startups based in the Southeast seeking funding between $500,000 and $5 million. Seven startups are selected for each Forum to present to accredited investors actively looking to invest in early-stage companies. To be considered, a company must have revenue and participate in a short, complimentary training session to better prepare applicants for investor presentations. Startups in any field are encouraged to apply to present at the Forum by visiting www.raiseforum.com/entrepreneurs. Applications will close on Monday, September 27.

“RAISE Forum’s unique approach to connecting investors and startups has fostered a very impressive 20-25% success rate to date,” says RAISE Forum co-founder Barry Etra. “RAISE Forum is the only funding forum in the Southeast, and all funded companies (47 to date) have remained in the Southeast or have exited. To date, we have seven exits confirmed.”

Investor and Community Support

Current investor support for the Forum comes from across the region and includes hundreds of investors, including Circadian Ventures, Panoramic Ventures, VentureSouth, AIM Group, Fulcrum Equity, and TiE Angels. Additional support comes from Georgia Bio, ATDC, Atlanta Tech Village, Launch Tennessee, Tech Alpharetta, and other influential Southeastern startup incubators and influencers.

“This program fulfills one of our key goals of keeping startups in the region, along with showcasing a diverse group of founders and companies, as about 30% of RAISE C-level execs are underserved,” says Charles Goetz, associate professor in the practice of organization and management at Goizueta Business School and RAISE Forum Co-founder.

About RAISE Forum

RAISE Forum was co-founded in 2014 by Barry Etra and Charles Goetz to bring together startups and investors from across the Southeast and foster collaboration within the region’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. RAISE was honored by Atlanta Inno and the Atlanta Business Chronicle in 2019 as one of its initial “50 on Fire” in Atlanta, and the Forum was one of 11 original “Blazer” winners. The Forum, an integral piece of the Entrepreneurship program at Goizueta Business School and the “Entrepreneurial Practicum” course, was developed to give students first-hand experience identifying factors that make a successful startup and ways to practice investor due diligence techniques. To learn more about the event, visit www.raiseforum.com.

Active investors or regional organizations interested in supporting the Forum should visit raiseforum.com/investors or raiseforum.com/sponsors to learn more about sponsorship opportunities and registration.

TAMPA, FL/ June 13, 2024 — Bisk, a pioneer in online and corporate education, is expanding its partnership with Emory University, launching the Data-Driven Leadership & Digital Transformation Certificate series this fall. The series offers three new online certificate pathways centered on Business and Digital Transformation, Analytics, and AI (artificial intelligence) through Emory Executive Education by Goizueta Business School. Tailored to meet the needs of businesses navigating digital transformation, participants will utilize technology, data science, and AI in conjunction with core business principles to strategically lead, analyze, and continually anticipate and adapt to the dynamic business landscape.

Digital transformation is not merely reshaping industries; it’s redefining them. While the necessity for operational and strategic shifts in companies is clear, navigating the path to transformation is often uncertain. For leaders, it’s the decision to either disrupt, or be disrupted. The goal behind each 12-week online certificate is to quickly empower executive leaders, decision-makers, and operational managers with actionable skills and strategic insights, enabling their businesses to thrive in the digital era.

“We’re excited to incorporate Emory’s prestigious business school expertise into our portfolio,” said Bisk CEO Mike Bisk. “Recognizing the varied needs and priorities of leaders and decision-makers, our goal is to empower corporate learners to tailor their learning experiences, equipping them to lead teams effectively, serve customers, and achieve organizational success.”

The certificate series encompasses three pathways to provide participants with a comprehensive learning experience tailored to their professional goals:

Leading Digital Transformation Certificate

  • + Develops proficiency in digital and business transformation tactics, enabling effective team leadership, organizational adaptation, and strategic decision-making
  • + Enhances the career trajectory of mid to senior-level management positions

Driving ROI with Analytics Certificate

  • + Harnesses the potential of data analytics to drive significant business expansion and inform strategic leadership decisions
  • + Provides the necessary tools and strategic perspectives to utilize analytics for improving business outcomes and incorporating data-driven methodologies into leadership approaches

Leveraging AI for Business Success Certificate

  • + Delves into the intricacies of AI and its relevance in today’s business environment
  • + Delivers profound insights into leveraging AI technologies to gain a competitive edge, optimize decision-making, and drive innovation

“We are excited to expand Emory Executive Education’s professional development courses in partnership with Bisk,” said Nicola Barrett, Chief Corporate Learning Officer at Goizueta Business School. “The three new online Certificate programs are designed for busy working professionals to build the critical future-focused business skills required for career and organizational success, without the barriers of time and distance. The programs are designed and delivered by a hand-selected team of distinguished Goizueta faculty who bring both the academic rigor of their research and its practical application to help managers navigate the complexities, and capitalize on the opportunities, arising at the intersections of technology, AI, data and business.”

The inaugural certificate series kicks off October 1, with each certificate offered three times throughout the year. For further details on the programs, visit https://execed.goizueta.emory.edu/.
